In the article “Benefits Music Lesson,” written by Sindya N Bhanoo, discuss the positive effect of childhood music lessons into adulthood. In addition researchers have shown that people who tool music lesson during their childhood have a better communication and responding faster to speech sound than those who didn’t. Furthermore, researchers point out, that lifelong music training does not only benefits into adulthood, but also leave a positive effect on our brain.
The significant idea in the article that I think is important is “Other studies have suggested that lifelong music training has a positive effect on the brain”. This is quite significant for various reasons, first music is a powerful too that reflected our memory from something important in our life. The reason it has a positive effect on our brain is because sometimes it reminded us something valued in the past. Moreover, as people get older sometimes they forget many important things in their life. However, if they have took long term music training during their childhood life that will benefits them to remember several things in the past. It does not matter what type of music their played any times they hear that sound they most likely remember it. Because, that sound can lead to remind them of an important moment, that has happen in the past in their life. Second the power of music can also help many people as they get older. It can decrease the cause of mental problems and life issues. Third music brings the joy in anyone life. Every one listen to different types of music that they likes the most. Many people use music to relax, to enjoyed them self and for a special moment in their life.
In addition lifelong music training is lessons that will always fallows us and also that no one can ever take away from us. It is a tool that is always beneficial in our life. For example, I remember one day that visited my grandmother at the village. Before I went to vacation I took same music lessons in my culture called Yibai. When I went to vacation I was playing music with my grandmother. I was trying to teach her how to play it, but what surprised me is that she knows how to play it as well. She said that she had played it, when she was a kid but in different mode. However, the system of how to play yibai never changed. Most importantly she still remember how to play it even though it being a long time. The mode of music might change but the sound will never change, it depends on the type of music.
Lifelong music training has a positive impact in our life that goes from one generation to the other. Taking music lesson during childhood will be helpful, useful and beneficial in our life. We all should encourage our self and others to take music lesson at childhood to prevent negative effect happening in our life, as we get older.
